While this child may tower over me now, we once fought an epic battle together against Head Lice that spanned 6 weeks, hundreds of dollars, and many, many tears. All while she was recovering from surgery.
I learned that people don’t know where to turn—and driving two hours to Asheville or Knoxville just isn’t it.
I learned the embarassment and shame that Lice brings as a mother due to the stigma of Head Lice.
I finally took enrolled in Professional Head Lice removal course learned what I was doing wrong, what not to do, and subsequently what TO do whenever they crept up, and what to look for to make sure we never went through a severe case like that again.
Fast forward to today, I’ve decided to bring fast, kind, in-home help right to our Tri-Cities neighborhoods. I enrolled in science and technique based training to refine my knowledge and skills. And I’m now on a mission to prevent my neighbors from ever going through the experience we did.

Our Treatment starts with a gentle wash with our Paraben and Pthalate free Tea Tree oil Shampoo and a touch of gentle conditioner to detangle.
Then, settle in surrounded by calming Aromatherapy while we carefully remove every louse, nit, and egg from your hair.

Yes. We understand the ebb and flow of life. You can cancel your Membership Plan at any time.
If your plan has paid for Treatment and you cancel within the first 12 months, the cost of treatment will be due at cancellation at a prorated rate.

Then we go into Treatment mode and get them gone as soon as the same day!
No missed work, no missed school. Depending on your Plan- Treatment may be free of charge!
Membership is granted upon initial CLEAR Head check appointment. If we find evidence of Lice at this appointment, we will need treat the lice before membership would be offered moving forward. Payment Plans for Treatment available.

Yes. Your membership covers all family members living in your home. - up to 3 children and 2 adults. Additional family members may be added on for a per person fee detailed in the plan descriptions on our Protection Plans page.
Parents may opt out of routine head check if kids are clear of evidence of Lice.

In order to screen for and treat Lice, we need to be able to comb through hair from scalp to tip with a VERY fine toothed comb.
While are happy to screen individuals with these unique hairstyles to the best of our ability, if Lice is found the Dreadlocks or Extensions would need to be taken out prior to treatment.

THERE IS NO CERTIFYING BODY FOR HEAD LICE REMOVAL.
If a business or technician says they’re “Certified”, what that means is that someone trained them, usually the Franchiser they work for who is either making money on their work, or charged them for the course. You can even take a $10 course on Udemy to become “Certified”. They’ve simply been issued a “certificate of Completion” after being trained in one technique or another, with methods that may or may not be science based, effective, or safe!
There is NO independent organization that sets standards for Lice Removal, and no Certifying criteria.
If someone tells you they’re “Certified”, it’s fluff. It’s Resume padding and it’s a Marketing ploy.
Ask to see their “Certification”. It will simply be a document made to look like some sort of diploma that reads “Certificate of Completion”.
That is NOT Certification. Certification (ie: Certified Nursing assistant, ServeSafe Certified for restaurants etc) Requires a person to meet very specific criteria and demonstration of skills that are regulated by a Government or Independant Certifying body…… Not just your boss saying “You’re certified”
Having said all of that. I am trained in the latest Science and efficacy based techniques for Lice removal and receive ongoing Professional Development in the field to ensure my methods stay current and offer the most effective way to remove and prevent lice for your family.

Yes! We understand that it can be difficult for some families to travel to us, so we can provide Mobile Service for Treatment if requested for a $100 Mobile visit fee.
Mobile Service available only within a 20 mile radius of our location. Mobile service ONLY for Treatment visits, not for routine Head Checks. Contact us to request a Mobile Treatment visit.

Yes! While our treatment is typically successful with just one visit. We do a recheck at 7-10 days after your Treatment, if any evidence of Lice is still found, we re-treat free of charge.
If Lice persists, it’s likely re-infestation is happening due to contact with another person with untreated Lice. We will help you try to figure out what could be the cause of re-infestation.
